JAN KILBURN ARTWORK
Jan Kilburn spends most of her time painting the seacoast of Maine. She specializes in capturing the light in her watercolor paintings. She spends her early summers painting on Monhegan Island and lives in Mid-Coast Maine, this provides the spectacular local subject matter. Her passion for color gives her paintings a quality of their own. "I want you to feel the beauty and warmth in these subjects. Every now and then everyone needs a peaceful place in which to escape. That's what I want to create"
